Randeep Hooda, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia Join O Romeo Cast
The cast of the upcoming film O Romeo has expanded to include prominent actors Randeep Hooda, Vikrant Massey, and Tamannaah Bhatia. They will join Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Nana Patekar in this highly anticipated project directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Anticipation Builds for O Romeo
Helmed by the acclaimed director Vishal Bharadwaj, O Romeo marks a significant reunion with Shahid Kapoor, who has delivered some of his most memorable performances under Bharadwaj’s direction. This film represents their fourth collaboration, following successful projects like Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon. Their history of exploring complex characters and profound themes has set high expectations for this new narrative, which promises depth and exceptional performances.
The cast now boasts an impressive lineup, including Triptii Dimri and the legendary Nana Patekar, both of whom add unique elements to the ensemble. Reports indicate that O Romeo will also feature a strong supporting cast, including Disha Patani, along with other notable names, making it a truly collaborative effort.
High-Octane Climax Filming Completed
The production wrapped filming in October, concluding with a dramatic climax sequence featuring Shahid Kapoor and Avinash Tiwary. The film began production in January and completed its final shooting phase last week at Bahubali Studios in Borivali, Mumbai.
Sources close to the project revealed that the intense duel between the two lead actors was filmed over two days. “They wrapped the close-up shots of the duel. The primary shots were done in Spain. Vishal Bharadwaj wanted the finale to feel explosive, so the team recreated a realistic environment inside the studio, giving him total control over lighting and stunts,” a source stated.
The climactic sequence is noted for its stunt-heavy action, featuring practical combat choreography, wirework, and controlled explosions. Avinash Tiwary, playing the antagonist, reportedly underwent extensive physical training for the fight. A member of the stunt team mentioned, “Both actors rehearsed it for a few days to get the rhythm right.” Bharadwaj aimed to keep the final shoot discreet, with only the core crew and action unit present on set.
With its compelling cast and a director known for his artistic vision, O Romeo is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases of 2026. As the production progresses, anticipation continues to build for what promises to be a memorable cinematic experience.
