Kartik Aaryan Launches ‘Yaaron Wali Baat 2.0’ to Celebrate Friendship
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has taken center stage once again, this time as the face of House of McDowell’s Soda in its latest campaign, ‘Yaaron Wali Baat 2.0’. Launched in March 2024, the initiative celebrates the significance of friendship and the unforgettable experiences shared among friends.
Developed in collaboration with Publicis Groupe India, the campaign is themed around the phrase ‘Karo Kuch Pehli Baar Jab Saath Hon Yaar’, which translates to “Do Something for the First Time When Friends Are Together.” This reflects McDowell’s long-standing tradition of honoring friendship, now infused with a contemporary flair. The campaign film captures a range of emotions, from nostalgia to exhilaration, showcasing how friends can encourage one another to embrace challenges.
The film features Aaryan motivating a hesitant friend to undertake a daring new experience. This serves as a metaphor for the courage that true friendship can inspire. Viewers witness a lively and cinematic portrayal of some of history’s most notable “firsts,” such as landing on the moon and the creation of social media, all underscored by the theme of camaraderie.
“Friendship has always been at the heart of House of McDowell’s Soda, and with ‘Yaaron Wali Baat 2.0’, we’re taking that legacy forward for a new generation,” stated Varun Koorichh, Vice President and Portfolio Head of Marketing at Diageo India. He emphasized the importance of shared experiences, especially for younger audiences who seek meaningful moments rather than mere highlights of success. The campaign aims to inspire this generation to forge unforgettable stories together, with Aaryan serving as the perfect ambassador for this message.
Reflecting on his ongoing partnership with the brand, Aaryan expressed, “My journey with House of McDowell’s Soda has always been about celebrating the magic of Yaari.
