Anupam Kher and Boman Irani Reignite Chemistry Ahead of Sequel
Two renowned Bollywood actors, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, gathered recently in Mumbai, sharing moments of laughter and nostalgia ahead of their anticipated film, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’. In a light-hearted video shared on social media, Kher playfully inquired about the food, to which Irani humorously remarked that while the food was satisfactory, the company could have been improved. He quickly added, laughing, that the company was indeed “superb.”
As they reminisced about their experiences on the set of the original film, Irani hinted at a reunion in January 2026, suggesting that production for the sequel may commence soon. Their playful banter was accompanied by the caption, “Company could have been BETTER! Khosla meets Khurana!” This reference connects back to their iconic roles in the original film, where Kher played Kamal Kishore Khosla and Irani portrayed the antagonist, Khurana.
The sequel, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’, was officially confirmed by producer Savita Raj Hiremath. Notably, the directing duties have shifted from Dibakar Banerjee, who helmed the first installment, to Umesh Bisht, known for his work on films such as ‘Pagglait’ and ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’.
Returning cast members are expected to include Kher, Irani, and Ranvir Shorey, who all played pivotal roles in the original film. Initially, Huma Qureshi was set to be the leading lady for the sequel, but recent reports indicate she has opted out of the project.
The original ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, produced by Savita Raj Hiremath under the banner of Taandav Films in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures, tells the story of a middle-class family from Delhi striving to reclaim their land from a greedy builder. The film, well-received for its humor and relatable storyline, featured a talented cast including Kher, Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, and Tara Sharma.
The film’s narrative, crafted by Jaideep Sahni, has resonated with audiences, leading to remakes in Tamil and Kannada, highlighting its widespread appeal. As anticipation builds for ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’, fans of the original film eagerly await the return of Kher and Irani’s beloved characters, promising another round of humor and heartfelt moments.
