Akshay Kumar Shares Awkward Encounter with Madonna at Bollywood Show

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently recounted a humorous yet uncomfortable experience involving pop legend Madonna during a live performance. On the latest episode of the show “Two Much” featuring Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, Kumar reflected on an incident that took place during the “Awesome Foursome” event, which included performances by notable stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla.

During the event, which aimed to entertain international audiences, Madonna attended with her husband and child. Akshay described how all performers were eager to impress, knowing the iconic singer was in attendance. However, one performer decided to take a more personal approach.

“He found out Madonna was coming in the afternoon and wrote a song just for her,” Akshay explained. The song, a playful take on the classic tune “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen,” included the lyrics, “You look to me a virgin, you have a virgin smile.” Although Madonna maintained her composure throughout the performance, she chose to leave immediately after the song concluded.

“She waited politely until the song was over, then stood up and walked out in the middle of the event,” Akshay recalled, adding that Kajol was visibly upset and confronted the performer backstage. The incident had lasting repercussions, as Akshay noted, “That was the end of the show. We never had any Hollywood celebrities attend again after that.”

Akshay Kumar and fellow actor Saif Ali Khan are set to reunite for the film “Haiwaan,” directed by Priyadarshan.
