Key Stocks and Sector Performance
Among the top performers, Tata Steel reported a rise of 1.61% to close at ₹173.15, while Power Grid Corporation of India and Tata Motors also saw significant gains, climbing by 1.43% and 1.10% respectively. Other notable mentions include Kotak Mahindra Bank and Nestle India, both increasing by 0.85%.
Conversely, Infosys and Tech Mahindra experienced minor declines, with shares dropping by 0.59% and 0.43%, respectively. Other companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Maruti Suzuki India, and State Bank of India also faced slight losses.
On the previous day, the market had shown strong recovery, with the Sensex climbing 575 points to close at 82,605 and the Nifty surpassing 25,300.
