Special Train Service Connects Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi

A special one-way train service has been announced to accommodate the increasing passenger demand between Thiruvananthapuram and Delhi. The service, known as Train No. 06159 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin Special, will depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central on December 13 at 07:45 and is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi on December 15 at 19:00.

This special train will also make stops at key locations along the route. It will arrive at Kasaragod at 17:44 on December 13 and reach Mangaluru Junction by 19:05. The service aims to ease the rush for passengers traveling to the national capital during this busy travel period.

Train Service Details

The special train will feature a comprehensive set of accommodations to cater to various passenger needs. It will include one AC first-class coach, five AC 2-tier coaches, and twelve AC 3-tier coaches, along with one hot buffet car and two generator coaches. This arrangement ensures a comfortable journey for passengers.

The train is set to halt at several important stations, including Kollam Junction, Kayamkulam Junction, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanacherry, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Udupi, Kundapura, Byndoor, Karwar, Madgaon Junction, Thivim, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Panvel, Vasai Road, Udhana Junction, Vadodara Junction, Ratlam Junction, Kota Junction, Sawai Madhopur Junction, and Mathura Junction.

This initiative by Indian Railways is part of ongoing efforts to manage passenger traffic effectively and provide timely services. As travel demand continues to rise, additional services like this special train may be implemented in the future to further enhance connectivity across the region.
