Nisha Sarang Speaks Out on Industry Challenges and Marriage Rumors

Actress Nisha Sarang, widely recognized for her role in the sitcom Uppum Mulakum, has recently announced her decision to exit the popular serial. In a candid interview with a private channel in Kerala, she shared insights into her personal struggles over the past few years and the resilience that has guided her through turbulent times.
Sarang emphasized her active role in promoting harmony on set, often stepping in to mediate disputes among colleagues. “I am a person who always intervenes in any issue that happens in the set where I’m working,” she stated. Her commitment to maintaining peace sometimes put her in challenging positions, particularly when tensions arose from minor disagreements.
The actress highlighted the financial disparities in the entertainment industry, noting that technicians often receive significantly lower pay compared to leading actors. “It is an open secret that the technicians in the serial field are paid meagerly compared with what artists like us take as remuneration,” Sarang remarked.
Her willingness to defend a technician falsely accused of misconduct, who also happened to be a kidney patient, sparked backlash within the industry. “It was an actor who spread these stories against the technician,” she explained. This confrontation led to a wave of rumors targeting Sarang herself, including unfounded claims about her personal life.
In a particularly distressing moment, Sarang recounted how her own daughter approached her with questions about the rumors. “At one point, even my daughter came to ask me about the truth,” she shared. “I cleared the air about the issue with my family, and they are all fine now.” Despite the emotional toll, she expressed a determination to stand her ground.
“I believe that I will be offered by God a day to explain my side of the whole issue,” she stated, indicating her hope for a future opportunity to share her perspective. Until that time, Sarang remains resolute in her defense against the rumors. “I will ruthlessly defend myself from all these attacks because if I am not ready to bow down or give up my profession,” she affirmed.
In light of her experiences, Nisha Sarang calls attention to the importance of integrity and support within the entertainment community, as she navigates the challenges of her career while advocating for those who often go unnoticed. Her story serves as a reminder of the complexities that can arise in the pursuit of artistic expression and the personal toll it can take on individuals in the public eye.
