BJP Strengthens Leadership with New Appointments in Odisha

The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced a significant reshuffle in its leadership on October 5, 2023, with the appointment of new office bearers aimed at enhancing organizational strength at the grassroots level. The decisions were approved by the party’s state president, Manmohan Samal.

In a move designed to bolster its leadership structure, the BJP has appointed a total of 10 vice presidents, four general secretaries, 10 secretaries, a treasurer, and a joint treasurer. This strategic reshaping comes as the party prepares for upcoming political challenges in the region.

Among the newly appointed vice presidents are notable leaders such as Jatin Mohanty, Ashok Mishra, Kusum Tete, and Ramesh Chandra Sahoo. In the roles of general secretaries, Biranchi Narayan Tripathy, Sarada Prasad Satpathy, Simanchal Khatei, and Purnima Priyadarshani Nayak will take on key responsibilities. Their expertise is expected to be instrumental in driving the party’s agenda forward in Odisha.
