BB Racing Triumphs in Exciting ISRL Season 2 Opener in Pune

Round 1 of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) Season 2 concluded with a spectacular display of talent and excitement at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Home team BB Racing claimed victory, thrilling thousands of fans with outstanding performances from both international and Indian riders. The event marked the beginning of the world’s first franchise-based Supercross league, setting a high bar for the season ahead.

The race weekend was filled with adrenaline-fueled action as competitors battled under the lights, showcasing their skills on a challenging track. Matt Moss from BigRock Motorsports secured a win in the 450cc International Class riding a Kawasaki, demonstrating his expertise. Meanwhile, Hunter Schlosser of BB Racing captivated the crowd in the 250cc International Class aboard a Honda, displaying remarkable speed and control. In the 250cc India-Asia Mix category, Ben Hallgren from Gujarat Trailblazers took the chequered flag, further energizing the enthusiastic crowd. Notable performances also came from Jordi Tixier of Indie, contributing to a thrilling atmosphere.

This opening round brought together a diverse lineup of over 36 international athletes from 21 countries, reinforcing India’s position as a significant player in the global Supercross arena. The event was not only a showcase for established stars but also provided a platform for rising Indian talents such as Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, and Prajwal Vishwanath.

The Reise Moto Fan Park added to the excitement, featuring interactive gaming zones, food stalls, live music, and exclusive merchandise. With a stadium filled to capacity, the event underscored the growing popularity of Supercross in India.

Mr. Eeshan Lokhande, Co-founder of ISRL, expressed pride in the event, noting that witnessing top international riders compete alongside Indian talent is a pivotal moment for the league. He emphasized that India is transitioning from being a spectator to a serious competitor in global motorsports. Lokhande stated, “Our vision has always been to build a platform that nurtures young riders, inspires the next generation, and puts India firmly on the global Supercross map.”

Mr. Veer Patel, Co-founder and Managing Director of ISRL, shared his enthusiasm for the success of Round 1, highlighting the incredible response from spectators in Pune. He remarked that the level of competition and the scale of the event illustrate the rapid evolution of motorsport in India. Patel believes this is not merely about racing; it signifies the beginning of a new sporting movement that blends entertainment, innovation, and community.

As the excitement continues, the action will shift to Hyderabad for Round 2, scheduled for December 6-7, 2025, followed by the grand finale in Kozhikode, Kerala, on December 20-21, 2025. With the stage set for an exhilarating season, fans can anticipate more fierce competition and thrilling performances in the upcoming rounds.
