Nitish Kumar Launches Mobile Science Bus to Inspire Students
Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, has officially launched a mobile science exhibition bus designed to enhance scientific literacy among students across the state. This initiative aims to reach a diverse student population, making science more accessible and engaging.
In addition to the mobile exhibition, Kumar inaugurated several significant projects at the Patna planetarium. Among these are the establishment of an Astra Park and a state-of-the-art virtual reality theatre, both intended to provide interactive learning experiences. The virtual reality theatre, in particular, will allow students to explore astronomical phenomena in an immersive environment, fostering a deeper understanding of science and technology.
Another highlight of the event was the launch of a new Master of Technology (MTech) course in geoinformatics. This program aims to equip engineering graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the evolving field of geospatial technology. The introduction of this course reflects the government’s commitment to advancing education and research in cutting-edge technological areas.
During the ceremony, engineering graduates were also recognized for their achievements, emphasizing the importance of education in driving innovation and progress within the state. This recognition serves to inspire current students and encourage them to pursue excellence in their academic and professional endeavors.
Overall, these initiatives represent a concerted effort by the Bihar government to promote scientific knowledge and technological advancement. By investing in education and providing students with modern tools and resources, the government hopes to cultivate a generation of informed and innovative thinkers.
