NIT Hamirpur Student Achieves Record Annual Package of Rs 3.40 Crore

A student at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh has secured an impressive annual package of Rs 3.40 crore during the 2025 placement season. Aryan Mittal, who is pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering as well as Electronics and Communication, achieved the highest package recorded at the institute this year, according to an official statement made on Tuesday.
This latest achievement marks a significant increase from the previous year’s highest package of Rs 2.05 crore, as reported by the institute’s director, H. M. Suryavanshi. The increasing trend in salaries reflects both the growing demand for skilled graduates in technology fields and the institute’s emphasis on quality education.
In addition to Aryan Mittal’s success, two female students specializing in the Electronics stream have also made noteworthy accomplishments, securing packages of Rs 1.68 crore each. The director highlighted that a total of fifteen students from NIT Hamirpur received offers exceeding Rs 40 lakh, while fifty others achieved packages above Rs 30 lakh.
H. M. Suryavanshi congratulated all students and faculty for their hard work and dedication, which have contributed to these strong placement results. The institute’s commitment to fostering talent in engineering and technology is evident in the successful placement figures.
As NIT Hamirpur continues to be a prominent educational institution, the achievements of its students serve to enhance its reputation both nationally and internationally. The placement results not only reflect the students’ capabilities but also the confidence that employers have in the talent emerging from this institute.
