Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK), a registered non-profit organization linked to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, has announced the launch of its annual scholarship and merit certificate awards for the academic year 2024–25. The organization aims to support students within the Tulu-speaking community by providing financial assistance and recognition for academic excellence.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, TKK will present these awards on or before Tulu Parba 2025, which is scheduled for October 24, 2025. This year’s theme, “25 years of unity – commitment to Tulu language, culture and community,” reflects TKK’s ongoing mission to promote cultural, social, charitable, and educational initiatives.

The scholarships are available to students who are children of current TKK members, and who are studying in either Kuwait or India. TKK will award scholarships to deserving candidates and merit certificates to those who have excelled in their 10th and 12th standard examinations.

Applications can be submitted online via the official link or QR code provided by TKK. To complete the application, candidates must include relevant marksheets for the academic year 2024–25. The deadline for application submissions is August 30, 2025, and late entries will not be considered.

For further inquiries, TKK members can reach out to Sathish Kotian, the welfare officer, at 94173832, or Jagadeeshwara Shanubhogue, the general secretary, at 97295367. Additional questions can be emailed to [email protected].

This initiative highlights Tulu Koota Kuwait’s commitment to fostering educational growth and cultural unity among its members, continuing a tradition that has been vital to the Tulu-speaking community for a quarter of a century.
