Sirsa Police Lead Community in Successful Blood Donation Drive

In a significant display of community spirit, blood donation camps were recently held at Police Lines Sirsa and Nathusari Chopta police station. These initiatives, part of the Sewa Pakhwada (Fortnight of Service) campaign, witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel, local residents, and voluntary organizations.
Community Engagement in Sirsa
The blood donation camp at Police Lines Sirsa was inaugurated by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Adarshdeep, while the event at Nathusari Chopta was launched by DSP Raj Singh. Both officers actively encouraged the donors and acknowledged their contributions by pinning badges on participating police personnel. During the event, DSP Adarshdeep remarked, “Blood donation is one of the greatest acts of humanity, and our police personnel are not just dedicated to their duties but are also actively involved in social service.”
DSP Adarshdeep emphasized that the Sirsa Police are fully committed to various social initiatives under the Sewa Pakhwada campaign. The blood donation efforts, organized in collaboration with the District Civil Hospital in Sirsa, resulted in 41 donations at Police Lines and 115 at Nathusari Chopta. In total, 372 police personnel across the district have voluntarily donated blood since the campaign began, which officials described as “a strong example of humanitarian service.”
Strengthening Community Bonds
The involvement of the public and non-governmental organizations in these blood donation camps illustrated the strong community support for this vital cause. Superintendent of Police Dr. Mayank Gupta praised the efforts of the Sirsa Police, stating that the initiative “strengthens the positive image of the police in society.”
Dr. Gupta added, “Such camps are not only acts of public service but also help save the lives of patients in need.” This initiative not only highlights the importance of blood donation but also fosters a sense of unity among the police force and the community they serve.
The success of these camps reflects the dedication of local law enforcement to serve beyond their traditional roles, showcasing a commitment to humanitarian efforts that resonate throughout the community.
