According to Dr. Dilip Singh, Chief Medical Superintendent at the Government Medical College in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, the combination of colder nights and damp air enhances the activity of pneumonia-causing viruses. Three main factors contribute to the rise in pneumonia cases during this time:
