The latest update from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index reveals significant changes in the rankings of the world’s wealthiest individuals. Over the past 24 hours, Warren Buffett, the renowned investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has dropped out of the top five, now positioned at tenth with a net worth of $144 billion. Meanwhile, Elon Musk retains his title as the richest person globally, with a staggering net worth of $372 billion.
Michael Dell has made notable strides, surpassing Jim Walton and now ranking eleventh with a fortune of $142 billion. The rankings reflect a competitive landscape among billionaires, showcasing the volatility of wealth in today’s economy.
Current Top Billionaires
In the latest rankings, Larry Ellison takes the second position with a net worth of $301 billion, followed by Mark Zuckerberg at third with $275 billion. Jeff Bezos holds the fourth spot with $252 billion, while Larry Page rounds out the top five with a net worth of $182 billion.
The rest of the top ten includes Steve Ballmer in sixth with $179 billion, Sergey Brin in seventh at $168 billion, Bernard Arnault in eighth with $153 billion, and Jensen Huang at ninth with $159 billion.
Notably, Bill Gates ranks thirteenth with $122 billion, illustrating the intense competition among the world’s richest individuals.
Ambani and Adani’s Status
In terms of Indian billionaires, Mukesh Ambani stands as the highest-ranked, securing the eighteenth position with a net worth of $98.8 billion. His wealth primarily stems from his ventures in the energy sector. In contrast, Gautam Adani is positioned at twenty-second with a net worth of $74.9 billion, reflecting the current challenges faced in his business enterprises.
