Innocent Hearts School Celebrates Bronze at International Dance Festival
Innocent Hearts School in Nurpur, Jalandhar, has achieved notable recognition at the International Dance Festival, TERMA’25, held in Malaysia. The school’s student, Ekamjot Singh, alongside his teacher, Mr. Kamaldeep Singh, participated in this vibrant event, showcasing their cultural heritage on an international platform.
The festival, which took place on September 8, 2025, drew enthusiastic participants from various countries across Asia. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Kamaldeep Singh, who serves as the Head of the Physical Education Department and is a Bhangra coach, the school represented India with exceptional talent. Ekamjot Singh, a dedicated Grade 10 student, performed with great spirit, reflecting the rich traditions of Indian dance.
In recognition of their hard work and passion, Innocent Hearts School secured the Bronze Medal, a significant achievement that underscores the institution’s commitment to extracurricular excellence and cultural preservation. The school’s performance not only highlighted their artistic abilities but also celebrated the vibrant heritage of Bhangra, an integral aspect of Indian culture.
Mr. Kamaldeep Singh was also honored with the opportunity to serve as a jury member at the festival, contributing to a fair evaluation of the performances. This role further exemplifies his expertise and the respect he commands in the field of dance education.
Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts School, expressed his pride in the achievements of both Ekamjot and Mr. Singh.
