It delivers on metabolic efficiency and overall health, especially when incorporated mindfully into a diet,” she notes.
Ghee’s high smoke point makes it suitable for various cooking methods, preventing the formation of harmful free radicals. Beyond cooking, ghee serves as a potent source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which the liver rapidly converts into energy. Chawla highlights, “MCTs are a fantastic fuel source before or after a workout,” making ghee a versatile addition for active individuals.
Furthermore, grass-fed ghee is noted for its content of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which may help regulate appetite and support lean body mass.
