Free Plastic Surgery Camp for Women Launches at Bembde Hospital

Bembde Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is set to host a free plastic surgery camp for women from September 20 to 27, 2025. This initiative, organized in partnership with Reconstructing Women International, aims to support women who have experienced deformities resulting from domestic violence, accidental injuries, or chemical burns.

The camp is designed to assist women dealing with scars, disfigurement, contractures, and other physical disabilities, enabling them to regain their confidence and lead fulfilling lives. During a press conference on Tuesday, Dr. Ramakant Bembde, a plastic surgeon affiliated with the hospital, stated that the cost of such surgeries often puts them out of reach for many women who need them.

Through this camp, eligible patients can receive corrective surgeries at no cost. The surgeries will take place at Bembde Hospital, located at Plot No. 14, Beed Bypass, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Women interested in these procedures are encouraged to register directly at the hospital.

In addition to the specialized camp, Dr. Bembde announced that the hospital offers free corrective surgeries throughout the year for children and individuals suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. These conditions can significantly hinder speech and communication, making timely intervention crucial.
