The match showcased standout performances, particularly from Bengal’s Devank Dalal, who tallied an impressive 22 points, marking his eighth consecutive Super 10 of the season.
The Warriorz initiated the game with strong energy, highlighted by an early raid from Devank Dalal. However, the Pirates quickly responded, with Maninder Singh leading the charge. The teams exchanged points, but a pivotal multi-point raid from Maninder shifted the momentum, allowing Patna to take a 7-6 lead. Their defense, spearheaded by Ayan, intensified the pressure and inflicted the first all-out, enabling Patna to extend their advantage to 13-7.
By the time-out, the Pirates had built a comfortable lead of 16-11. Following this, Himanshu Narwal contributed a raid point, helping the Warriorz enforce an all-out of their own, leveling the scores at 19-19.

The Warriorz managed to take a slim 26-25 lead at halftime. They carried this momentum into the second half, quickly extending their lead further. Nonetheless, the Pirates fought back, with Ayan’s tackle bringing the scores to parity at 27-27. Ayan’s consistent performance culminated in his own Super 10, keeping Patna firmly in contention.
As the match drew closer to a conclusion, Narwal produced a game-changing raid in the final minute. This pivotal effort not only secured crucial points but also triggered an all-out, providing the Warriorz with a decisive four-point cushion. With this advantage, the Bengal Warriorz successfully closed out the match, ensuring their victory over the Patna Pirates.
