No Entry 2 Set for Christmas 2026 Release with Lead Changes
The long-anticipated sequel to the 2005 comedy hit No Entry, titled No Entry 2, is aiming for a Christmas 2026 release. Entertainment journalist Rahul Raut of PeepingMoon has confirmed that the film is gaining momentum, with key details emerging about the project. Raut shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the film will feature Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in leading roles, while a search is underway for a third male lead following Diljit Dosanjh‘s departure from the film due to scheduling conflicts.
Diljit Dosanjh was initially cast as one of the three male leads but has stepped away from the project. His exit has led to speculation regarding potential creative differences or his recent casting of Hania Aamir in the film Sardaar Ji 3. However, producer Boney Kapoor clarified in an interview with NDTV that Dosanjh’s departure was strictly due to conflicting schedules.
Boney Kapoor stated, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements; hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.” Dosanjh’s busy schedule includes his upcoming Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, 2025, alongside various film commitments, leaving little room for No Entry 2‘s production timeline.
The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, is expected to feature all three male leads in double roles, adding an intriguing layer to the comedy. The production team is reportedly working diligently to finalize the casting for the third male lead, aiming to bring a fresh perspective to the sequel.
As the project develops, fans of the original film are eager for updates, especially with the promise of a Christmas release. The combination of established stars and the creative vision of Anees Bazmee is anticipated to deliver a comedic experience that resonates with audiences.
