Senior Police Inspectors Transferred in Jammu District Restructuring

The Jammu District Police underwent a significant restructuring as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Joginder Singh implemented a major transfer of police inspectors. On August 7, 2023, the official order was issued, announcing the reassignment of several Station House Officers (SHOs) across various police stations in the region.

Inspector Arun Parkash has been appointed as the new SHO for Bakshi Nagar, while Inspector Azad Manhas will take over as SHO for Miran Sahib. This reshuffling is part of a broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency and improve community relations within the police force.

In addition, Inspector Jai Paul Sharma is now assigned to Gandhi Nagar, and Inspector Rakesh Singh has been posted to Bishnah. Inspector Sushil Chodhary will lead the Trikuta Nagar Police Station, and Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia has assumed the role of SHO at Akhnoor.

Other notable appointments include Inspector Rakesh Manni, who will serve as SHO for Pacca Danga, and Inspector Nishant Gupta, now in charge of Nowabad. Inspector Deepak Pathania has taken over as SHO for Channi, while Inspector Vikas Dogra has been posted to Jhajjar Kotli. Lastly, Inspector I.P. Singh will now operate from the Bus Stand, and Inspector Shakti Devi has been appointed as SHO for City.
