Filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day Concludes with Emotional Tribute

The filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man franchise, has officially concluded. Director Destin Daniel Cretton announced the wrap on social media, expressing his gratitude for the cast and crew involved in the project. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker and is set for theatrical release on July 31, 2026.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Cretton shared a collection of photos featuring Holland and the entire production team. He described the experience as the most rewarding of his career, thanking the cast for their dedication to bringing beloved characters to life. “To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day,” he wrote, highlighting the collaborative spirit on set.

The filming process began in Glasgow, Scotland, in August 2023 but faced a brief interruption when Holland suffered a mild concussion during a stunt. Despite this setback, the production team successfully completed filming, and Cretton expressed enthusiasm for sharing the film with audiences. “I can’t wait for the world to see everyone’s stunning work on the big screen,” he remarked.

The screenplay for Brand New Day has been penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, known for their work on No Way Home. Alongside his role in this new Spider-Man film, Holland is also set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project, The Odyssey, further showcasing his versatility as an actor.
