KLE Technological University in Hubballi is set to host a significant national event aimed at enhancing the innovation and startup ecosystem in higher educational institutions (HEIs). This initiative, organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) under the Ministry of Education, marks the second consecutive year that KLE Technological University has taken part in this flagship program.

The Regional Meet will be conducted across 26 locations nationwide in three phases, with KLE Technological University participating in the first phase. The event will be centrally inaugurated by Prof. TG Sitharam, the chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This launch is part of a broader initiative designed to strengthen collaboration and innovation among educational institutions.

At the Hubballi venue, a lineup of distinguished guests is expected to attend, including Dr. Ravi Guttal, Chief Technology Officer of Aqueus Pvt Ltd; Akhil Sharma, Assistant Director of Innovation Ecosystem in HEIs; and Abhishek Ranjam from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell.

The event anticipates participation from around 140 IIC institutions, 50 non-IIC institutions, 40 Yukti teams, and 25 schools, bringing together approximately 500 participants. This regional meet serves as a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, best-practice exchanges, collaboration, and discussions focused on driving innovation.

The initiative not only highlights the importance of innovation in education but also promotes a culture of entrepreneurship among students and faculty. With the active involvement of multiple educational institutions, the event aims to foster a collaborative environment where ideas can flourish and new ventures can emerge.

As the date approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be a transformative experience for all involved. The regional meet is scheduled for 2025, and participants are encouraged to engage actively in the discussions and networking opportunities presented during the event.
