Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ilia Volok Join Forces for Heist Film

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to take on the role of a Physics professor in a new heist film titled Faraar. This project marks a collaboration with Hollywood actor Ilia Volok, recognized for his performances in films such as Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones. Also joining the cast is Nimisha Sajayan, known for her work in Dabba Cartel, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Director Kushagra Sharma shared insights into his casting choices, emphasizing the intention behind pairing Volok with Siddiqui. He remarked, “Casting Ilia Volok opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui was a creative decision driven by the desire to reintroduce the essence of a powerful, layered villain while breaking away from conventional portrayals.” As the film industry increasingly embraces global narratives, Sharma believes it is vital to feature performers who possess depth, intensity, and authenticity.

Sharma further highlighted that Siddiqui’s exceptional on-screen talent necessitated a formidable counterpart. He noted that Volok’s unique blend of gravitas and unpredictability made him an ideal match for Siddiqui. This dynamic duo aims to captivate audiences with their contrasting yet complementary performances.

The film will also feature a background score composed by Ivan Lacamara, a Spanish composer renowned for his work on Money Heist. Sharma expressed excitement about Lacamara’s involvement, stating, “With the Money Heist composers crafting the background score, audiences can expect a sound that takes the thrill to the next level.”
