Team India secured their ninth Asia Cup title by defeating Pakistan by five wickets in a thrilling final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 28, 2025. Remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament, the Men in Blue showcased their dominance in both batting and bowling, further solidifying their reputation as the most successful team in Asia Cup history.
Winning the toss, India opted to bowl first and delivered an impressive performance, bowling out Pakistan for just 146 runs in 19.1 overs. Gill and Abhishek formed a formidable alliance, adding 105 runs for the first wicket against Pakistan. Gill scored 47 runs off 28 balls, while Abhishek’s explosive 74 runs off 39 deliveries helped propel India to victory.
