CET-2025 Concludes Successfully with Strong Community Support

The Common Eligibility Test (CET)-2025 wrapped up successfully in Panchkula, conducted over the weekend of March 16-17, 2025. The examination proceeded smoothly, with strong security measures in place to ensure the safety of all participants. A total of 525 police personnel were deployed across various exam centres, as confirmed by Panchkula Deputy Commissioner of Police, Srishti Gupta. Notably, there were no reports of cheating or irregularities during the two-day event.

In a bid to enhance accessibility, the Haryana government provided special transport services for 53 differently-abled candidates. These individuals received free transportation to their respective examination centres, most of which were located in Chandigarh. Deputy Commissioner Monika Gupta stated that each candidate was contacted personally to offer this service, further demonstrating the government’s commitment to inclusivity. All beneficiaries were safely picked up from their homes and returned after the examination.

Support for Vulnerable Candidates

The administration’s focus on compassion was evident through the actions of Chandrakant Kataria, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Panchkula. Kataria personally transported a woman candidate with a leg injury and a pregnant candidate to their exam centres in his official vehicle. His involvement not only ensured that they arrived safely but also underscored the administration’s dedication to supporting those in need.

Additionally, on the second day of the CET-2025, comprehensive transportation arrangements were implemented. A fleet of 46 buses was dispatched from Panchkula to facilitate local candidates traveling to examination centres in Yamunanagar. At the same time, 256 buses arrived from Karnal and Kaithal, ensuring that all candidates could reach their destinations without undue stress.

Efficient Transportation Logistics

On the first day, 25 buses were sent from six locations within Panchkula, including Kalka, Pinjore, and Morni, to transport candidates to Yamunanagar for the first shift. For the second shift, 21 buses were used. The return logistics were equally extensive, with 80 buses coming back from Karnal and 45 from Kaithal during the first shift, and 81 from Karnal and 50 from Kaithal in the second shift. In addition, feeder buses were arranged to transport candidates from bus stands to exam centres and back, ensuring a seamless experience.

The CET-2025 not only highlighted the importance of rigorous examination protocols but also showcased a community united in support of its members. The successful conclusion of the test reflects both effective organizational efforts and the compassion shown by local officials and the Haryana government towards candidates facing various challenges.
