Mercedes Mone, the current AEW champion, has reached another milestone in her wrestling career by capturing her thirteenth title. This latest achievement occurred at the HOG x The Big Event SuperClash, where she defeated Nor Phoenix Diana to secure the APAC Women’s Championship. This victory further solidifies Mone’s reputation as a formidable competitor in the wrestling landscape.

Last month, during AEW’s WrestleDream 2025, Mercedes Mone made history by breaking the record previously held by wrestling legend Ultimo Dragon. Mone achieved this by defeating Mina Shirakawa to claim the Interim ROH Women’s World TV Title, bringing her total number of championships to eleven at the time. Not resting on her laurels, she quickly added another title by unseating Jody Threat for the WPW Women’s Championship the following day in Winnipeg, Canada.

In the weeks leading up to the SuperClash, Mone showcased her skills by successfully defending her titles. She retained the CMLL World Women’s Championship against Olympia during the Fright Night AEW Collision event and successfully defended her Bestya Women’s Championship against Queen Maya earlier this month. Each match has demonstrated her resilience and competitive spirit.

Mercedes Mone has also made headlines for her involvement in significant matches. On November 12, 2025, she participated in the first-ever Women’s Blood and Guts match on AEW Dynamite. In this intense showdown, Mone played a pivotal role in her team’s victory, using her championship belts as strategic weapons against their opponents. Her teamwork helped isolate competitors such as Jamie Hayter, Harley Cameron, and Kris Statlander, although Statlander managed to deliver a powerful Samoan Drop, sending Mone through a table at ringside.

The Triangle of Madness, consisting of Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne, ultimately claimed victory in the Blood and Guts match by forcing Toni Storm to surrender. This tactical maneuver saved her partner Mina Shirakawa from further punishment, showcasing the high stakes involved in this historic encounter.

Looking ahead, Mercedes Mone is set to challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear 2025. As her title collection continues to grow, fans and analysts alike are eager to see how her reign will unfold in the coming months. Mone’s journey in professional wrestling has not only redefined her legacy but has also captivated audiences around the world, solidifying her status as one of the industry’s top talents.
