EA Sports Unveils Top 10 Running Backs in Madden NFL 26 Rankings
EA Sports has announced the top ten running backs featured in Madden NFL 26, with Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles topping the list with a perfect 99 overall rating (OVR). This prestigious ranking highlights Barkley’s exceptional skills, securing him the cover of the game and a coveted spot in the 99 Club. The competition among running backs is fierce, particularly with new talents emerging and established players contending for top honors.
Among the notable names is Derrick Henry, who plays for the Baltimore Ravens. Henry, a veteran in the series since his debut in Madden 17, has seen significant growth in his ratings. He initially started with a 75 OVR and made his way into the 90s for the first time in Madden 21. Last year, he became a member of the 99 Club, narrowly missing a repeat appearance by a single point, with Barkley overtaking him in the latest installment.
Rising Stars and Established Veterans
Ranked third is Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions, a newcomer to the NFL who has quickly made his mark. Gibbs debuted with a solid 83 OVR in Madden 24, rapidly advancing to the 90s by the following year. His remarkable ascent places him among the elite running backs in the game. Close behind him is Christian McCaffrey, representing the San Francisco 49ers, who holds a 94 OVR. While McCaffrey has experienced a slight decline in his rating over the past two years, he remains a dominant force with the highest overall attribute points.
Another rising star, Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons, is positioned fifth with a rating of 92 OVR. Robinson shares a similar trajectory with Gibbs, having started with a lower rating but consistently improving over time.
The complete list of the top ten running backs in Madden NFL 26 is as follows:
1. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: (99 OVR)
2. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens: (98 OVR)
