Pranit More Denies Romance with Malti Chahar After Bigg Boss 19
Stand-up comedian Pranit More finished as the second runner-up on the popular reality show Bigg Boss 19, concluding a four-month journey in the competition. Following the grand finale, he addressed speculation about a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Malti Chahar, firmly denying any such claims.
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Pranit clarified his connection with Malti, stating, “Mere end se dosti thi. Uske bhi end se dosti thi. But haan, end mein humara ek jhagda hua tha.” (Translation: “I was friends with her. She was friends with me too. But yes, we fought in the end.”) He explained that their friendship faced challenges, particularly after an argument that occurred just before Malti’s elimination.
Pranit expressed regret that their relationship was not resolved before her exit from the show. “I even apologised to her,” he added. Despite the tensions, he noted that their recent interaction improved their dynamic: “So, aaj jab hum mile, maine baatein kari usse. So, ab cheeze thodi better hain.” (Translation: “So, today when we met, I talked to her. So, things are a little better now.”)
Reflections on Friendship and Competition
In the same interview, Pranit reflected on his bond with teammate Gaurav Khanna, who emerged as the winner of the season. He recalled their mutual goal of reaching the top two and shared his feelings about Gaurav’s victory. “I managed to reach the top 3. I am very happy with my journey. Obviously, I felt bad then. But then I was rooting for Gaurav to win,” Pranit said.
He emphasized the significance of Gaurav’s win, stating, “If he won, I also won. Main chahta tha ki ek aisa insaan jeete jo logo ko inspire kare, aur Gaurav bhai vaise the.” (Translation: “I wanted someone to win who could inspire people, and Gaurav was that person.”)
Pranit’s brother, Prayag More, also shared insights during the interview, highlighting a pivotal moment in Pranit’s journey. “Yaadgar moment vohi jab usne apne liye stand lena chalu kar diya tha,” he remarked, referring to Pranit’s decision to assert himself during conflicts with other contestants.
