The South Western Railway has announced an extension of temporary train stoppages affecting several routes, responding to ongoing infrastructure works. This decision includes adjustments to the Solapur-Hassan Express and MEMU services, which will now continue their temporary stoppages at specific stations until December 2025.

Changes to Solapur-Hassan Express Stoppages

The temporary stoppage for Train No. 11311/11312 Solapur-Hassan Express at Nelamangala station will now be in effect until December 16, 2025. Initially set to conclude on October 31, 2025, the stoppage will now persist from November 1 to December 15, 2025, for Train No. 11311. Similarly, Train No. 11312 will also experience an extended stoppage, now operating from November 2 to December 16, 2025. The existing arrival and departure times will remain unchanged during this period, ensuring that passengers can plan their journeys with consistency.

MEMU Services and Other Adjustments

In addition to the Solapur-Hassan Express, the South Western Railway has confirmed the continuation of temporary stoppages for Train Nos. 16519/16520 KSR Bengaluru-Jolarpettai-KSR Bengaluru MEMU at Hoodi Halt station. This extension will be effective from December 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, allowing for continued access for commuters in the region.

The railway authority has also announced a partial cancellation of the Miraj-Castle Rock Express trains due to ongoing doubling work in the Hubballi Division. Train No. 17333 Miraj-Castle Rock Daily Express and Train No. 17334 Castle Rock-Miraj Daily Express, which were previously partially canceled until October 31, 2025, will now see that cancellation extended from November 1 to November 30, 2025. During this time, Train No. 17333 will short-terminate at Londa, while Train No. 17334 will originate from Londa instead of Castle Rock, impacting travel plans for passengers relying on these routes.

Furthermore, the stoppage of several other trains at Vyasa Colony Station will be temporarily eliminated from October 30 to November 16, 2025, due to infrastructure work. This includes Train No. 07395 Ballari-Davangere DEMU Special, Train No. 07396 Davangere-Ballari DEMU Special, Train No. 56529 Harihar-Hosapete Passenger, and Train No. 56530 Hosapete-Harihar Passenger.

These adjustments by the South Western Railway are designed to facilitate ongoing electrification and infrastructure enhancement, ultimately aiming to improve service reliability and efficiency for passengers.
