Dr. Rajasekhar Undergoes Surgery for Leg Injury Ahead of Biker Release
Dr. Rajasekhar, a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, has sustained a significant leg injury while filming his upcoming movie, Biker. The seasoned actor suffered multiple fractures to his ankle in an incident that occurred on set, necessitating immediate medical intervention and surgery.
Details of the Incident
Sources close to the production revealed that the accident took place during a scene where Dr. Rajasekhar’s ankle bore the brunt of an unexpected impact. Following the incident, the actor underwent a two-hour surgical procedure to address the fractures. “The accident happened on the shooting sets. His ankle took the impact, resulting in multiple fractures. He underwent surgery despite severe pain,” noted an insider.
Dr. Rajasekhar, who is also a qualified doctor, reportedly engaged cooperatively with the orthopaedic team throughout the surgery. “He is recovering well,” the source added, indicating a positive outlook on his rehabilitation.
Recovery and Future Projects
Medical professionals have advised Dr. Rajasekhar to maintain complete rest for the next three to four weeks to ensure proper healing. “He will have to stay away from shooting until he fully recovers, and is expected to rejoin the sets in January 2026,” clarified the source.
Known for his roles in successful films such as Ankusam, Agraham, and Simha Rasi, Dr. Rajasekhar is recognized for his tough-cop portrayals. His recent comeback with the film Kalki has been well-received, and he is currently playing a key role in Biker, which also stars actor Sharwanand.
As he navigates this recovery period, fans and colleagues alike are hopeful for a swift return to the screen, marking another chapter in the actor’s enduring career.
