Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, announced significant advancements in development and law enforcement during a recent event in the Vidhyadhar Nagar Assembly constituency. Kumari highlighted that under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the state has witnessed a remarkable 19% reduction in crime over the past two years, according to data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

At the event, Kumari inaugurated several projects and laid foundation stones for new initiatives aimed at enhancing public infrastructure. She emphasized the importance of governance that prioritizes the welfare of the people, stating, “For a public representative, working for the people of their area should be a priority, and it is for me too.”

Celebrating Two Years in Office

The Deputy Chief Minister noted that the BJP government will celebrate its two-year anniversary on December 15, 2023, with plans for a large public event to commemorate the occasion. “This is a very joyful occasion; our government is completing two years on the 15th, and on that day, there will be a grand program as well as the launch of schemes,” she said, indicating the administration’s commitment to further development.

Kumari’s remarks reflect a broader strategy to showcase the achievements of the government, particularly in the areas of public safety and economic growth. She asserted that improvements in law and order have fostered a more secure environment, which has in turn attracted tourism and enhanced investor confidence. “Tourism has also increased in Rajasthan, and every person in Rajasthan is feeling safe and hoping to do well in such conditions,” she added.

Focus on Law and Order

In her address, Kumari cited the latest NCRB report to underscore the administration’s progress in reducing crime rates. “There has been a decline of 19% in the crime rate according to the NCRB report… the rate of crime against women and people’s safety was bad during the Congress government. We are working to improve those stats and the situation is better now,” she stated.

The Deputy Chief Minister’s comments reflect an ongoing effort by the BJP to improve public safety and create a conducive environment for both residents and visitors. She concluded by reaffirming the government’s dedication to welfare initiatives and infrastructure development, asserting that the administration is diligently working for the people of Rajasthan.

With these announcements, the BJP government aims to solidify its position and reassure citizens of its commitment to fostering a safe and prosperous state.
