Cam Little Shatters NFL Field Goal Record with 68-Yard Kick
Cam Little of the Jacksonville Jaguars has etched his name in NFL history by kicking a remarkable 68-yard field goal during a game against the Las Vegas Raiders on October 15, 2025. This record-breaking achievement marks the longest field goal ever made in a regular-season game, surpassing the previous record held by Justin Tucker.
In a thrilling matchup at Allegiant Stadium, Little’s kick occurred while the Raiders were leading 6-3. With the clock ticking, his impressive kick not only shifted the momentum of the game but also cemented his place in the annals of football history. The NFL celebrated the moment on social media, declaring, “CAM LITTLE JUST KICKED THE LONGEST FG IN NFL HISTORY! 68 YARDS!”
Little’s Journey to Record-Breaking Kick
The 22-year-old kicker, who was drafted in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft from the University of Arkansas, has had a mixed performance in his second season. Prior to this game, he had successfully converted 10 out of 14 field goal attempts. Despite these ups and downs, Little demonstrated his potential earlier this year by scoring a 70-yard field goal during a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, that impressive feat did not count for official records.
Little’s 68-yard kick eclipsed Tucker’s previous record of 66 yards, set in 2021. Tucker had broken the earlier record of 64 yards, achieved by Matt Prater in 2013. Little’s record-setting moment not only provides excitement for fans but also raises expectations for the young kicker’s future in the league.
