Shree Devi Sambhram’25 Fest Concludes with Over 3,000 Participants
The annual national-level fest, Shree Devi Sambhram’25, organized by the Shree Devi Institute of Technology, concluded successfully on December 4, 2025, with enthusiastic participation from over 3,000 individuals across the country. The event, held in Mangaluru, showcased a vibrant mix of technical, cultural, and management competitions, celebrating innovation and creativity.
The fest was inaugurated by Madhusudhana Rao R D, regional manager of Career Education at ISA Expert Labs, IBM India, who attended as the chief guest. Alongside him were prominent figures including A Sadananda Shetty, chairman of the Shree Devi Education Trust, and Nidhish S Shetty, vice chairman. The ceremony also featured Dr K E Prakash, principal and director of the institute, and other esteemed faculty members, including Prof Rashma Jain, Dr Gayathri B J, and Prof Vidya Rani.
Event Highlights and Competitions
The two-day fest offered a wide range of competitions. Day one focused on technical events like web designing, robo soccer, aircraft investigation, and mega circuit build. On day two, cultural events took center stage with activities such as Face Off dance, Yakshagana, reel making, treasure hunts, and gully cricket.
In addition to the competitions, the fest featured a food festival titled Bite-Bazaar and a live radio show, Dhwani FM. A major highlight was the concert by Thaikkudam Bridge on December 3, which attracted around 5,000 attendees. The band captivated the audience with their energetic performance and unique fusion of musical genres.
On December 4, DJ Sonal delivered an electrifying performance, energizing the crowd with her vibrant beats and infectious energy, prompting thousands to dance and celebrate the fest’s conclusion.
Recognition and Awards
The MBA department hosted Echelon’25, a management fest centered around Quick Commerce, while the MCA department organized Medha’25, which presented exclusive technical events themed around the cosmos.
The fest wrapped up with a valedictory ceremony that celebrated the achievements of participants. Winners received cash prizes and trophies totaling 5 lacs, recognizing their exceptional contributions and talents showcased during the event.
Overall, Shree Devi Sambhram’25 not only highlighted the skills of its participants but also strengthened the community’s spirit of collaboration and innovation.
