Ranveer Singh Celebrates Love Story with Deepika Padukone in Udaipur
Ranveer Singh recently shared how his romance with Deepika Padukone began during the filming of *Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela* in Udaipur. While attending a sangeet ceremony for Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju, he referred to Udaipur as a “lucky charm” for love stories, recalling the origins of his own relationship with Padukone.
During the lively event, a video captured Singh addressing the couple and guests, expressing his deep connection to the city. He stated, “Udaipur is like a lucky charm for love stories. I shot a movie here called *Ram-Leela*. It was on the long Udaipur schedule of *Ram Leela* that our love story blossomed.” He reflected on the milestones they have achieved together, marking over thirteen years of companionship, seven years of marriage, and the birth of their daughter.
Celebrating Their Journey
Singh and Padukone tied the knot on November 14, 2018, at a picturesque ceremony in Lake Como, Italy. Their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, was born in September 2022, adding joy to their family life. The couple has become one of Bollywood’s most celebrated pairs, often admired for their on-screen and off-screen chemistry.
The film *Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela*, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, premiered on November 15, 2013. It has now completed twelve years since its release, and in celebration, the screenwriters, Siddharth-Garima, shared unseen behind-the-scenes photos from the set. Fans eagerly received these candid images featuring Singh, Padukone, and Bhansali, highlighting the close-knit nature of their film family.
Singh’s heartfelt remarks during the sangeet not only showcased his affection for Padukone but also highlighted Udaipur’s significance in their love story. The actor’s words resonate with many couples who find their own romantic milestones in special locations.
