PM Modi Launches Inaugural Emerging Science and Technology Conclave

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the first Emerging Science and Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) on November 3, 2025, in New Delhi. This significant event aims to bolster India’s research and development ecosystem by launching a substantial fund dedicated to advancing private sector-led innovation.

The inaugural conclave, described as a flagship initiative by the government, is set to become an annual gathering that will unite over 3,000 participants from various sectors, including academia, research institutions, industry, and government. One of the key highlights of the event is the introduction of a Rs 1 lakh crore (approximately $12 billion) Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund.
