TPUSA Moves Forward with Livestream Amid Owens Scheduling Conflict

Blake Neff, a representative of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), has confirmed that the organization will proceed with a scheduled livestream addressing allegations made by Candace Owens against Charlie Kirk. This announcement follows a scheduling conflict that has resulted in Owens not participating in the event. Originally, she was invited to join the livestream to clarify her statements regarding Kirk, who was tragically assassinated on September 10, 2023.

Owens has made several unsubstantiated claims regarding the leadership of TPUSA, suggesting they had “betrayed” Kirk. In response to her allegations, Neff invited Owens to appear on Kirk’s podcast, indicating a desire for a direct discussion. Initially, Owens appeared to accept the invitation. However, she later expressed concerns over the timing, indicating that her own show would conflict with the proposed livestream.

Neff stated, “Yesterday, we made it clear that we would be scheduling a formal response to the allegations and accusations you have made. We’ve decided that response will be delivered during a livestream on December 15.” His comments were posted on social media platform X, clearly indicating that TPUSA would continue without her participation.

Owens responded to the proposed time, saying, “December 15 does not work in-person and 2 PM PT is also literal time I do my podcast LIVE every day (which you knew)—but we will happily cancel the daily podcast and will join you guys virtually instead for the livestream on the 15th if that works on your end?” However, it appears her suggestion to join virtually was not accepted by TPUSA, leading to speculation regarding her commitment to the discussion.

This ongoing situation highlights the tensions within TPUSA and the broader implications surrounding Kirk’s legacy following his untimely death. The decision to move forward with the livestream without Owens suggests a desire for clarity and accountability regarding the claims she has made.

As the date approaches, observers will be keen to see how this dispute unfolds and the potential impact it may have on TPUSA’s public image and operations. With the livestream scheduled for December 15, it promises to be a significant moment for the organization as it aims to address sensitive issues surrounding its leadership and recent events.
