This gathering, scheduled from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM IST at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, aims to celebrate the life and legacy of the beloved cinematic figure who passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, 2025.
The prayer meet will be attended by Hema Malini’s daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, alongside extended family members including Bharat Takhtani and Vaibhav Vohra. The first prayer meet, dubbed “Celebration of Life,” took place in Bandra and was attended by high-profile figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Akshay Kumar. Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to attendees, acknowledging the support during this challenging time.
During the tribute, singer Sonu Nigam performed several of Dharmendra’s beloved songs, including “Aa Ja Jaane Wale” and “Rahe Na Rahe Hum,” adding a poignant touch to the remembrance. On the same day, various actors visited Hema Malini’s home to convey their condolences, reinforcing the sense of community within the film industry.
Additionally, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol celebrated Dharmendra’s 90th birthday at the family farmhouse on December 8, 2025, sharing the occasion with fans and honoring their father’s legacy.
