Four Companies Set Key Dates for Buybacks and Dividends
Four companies—eClerx Services Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Dr. Lal Pathlabs Ltd., and Can Fin Homes Ltd.—have announced important corporate actions this week, with record dates set for share buybacks, dividends, and bonus shares. These developments offer significant financial opportunities for shareholders.
eClerx Services Announces Buyback
eClerx Services Ltd. plans to conduct a share buyback of up to 666,000 equity shares, valued at ₹300 crore. This announcement was made in October and is set to take effect with the record date fixed for December 17. The buyback price is set at ₹4,500, which matches the stock’s closing price last Friday. Notably, company promoters will not participate in this buyback, and shareholders must hold their shares in a demat account by the end of December 16 to be eligible to tender their shares.
Indian Oil Corporation Declares Dividend
On Friday, Indian Oil Corporation, recognized as India’s largest downstream refiner, declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share. Approximately 2.9 million retail shareholders will benefit from this payout, amounting to nearly ₹400 crore. The record date for eligible shareholders has been set for December 18. This dividend reflects the company’s continued commitment to returning value to its investors.
Can Fin Homes and Dr. Lal Pathlabs Consider Corporate Actions
The board of Can Fin Homes Ltd. is scheduled to meet today to discuss the possibility of declaring an interim dividend. Should the board approve this action, the record date has been established for December 19.
In a similar vein, Dr. Lal Pathlabs Ltd., a prominent healthcare services provider, announced its first-ever bonus issue on October 31. The company plans to issue one free share for every share held by shareholders as of the record date, also set for December 19. Shareholders must have their shares in a demat account by the end of December 18 to qualify for the bonus shares.
These corporate actions reflect a positive trend among these companies, reinforcing their commitments to shareholder value. Investors should mark these dates on their calendars to ensure they do not miss out on these opportunities.
