Surgeons at Maharaja Yeshwantrao (MY) Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, successfully removed two large abdominal tumors weighing nearly 15 kg from a 50-year-old woman named Masali Bai. This significant medical achievement comes after the patient experienced severe stomach pain, swelling, and discomfort for several months.

Masali Bai, who hails from Dabiya village in Khargone, underwent initial medical investigations that revealed the presence of two massive growths in her abdomen. This rare condition posed a serious threat to her health, making timely surgical intervention crucial.

The intricate surgery was led by Dr. Arvind Shukla, the head of surgery at MY Hospital, in collaboration with Dr. Somen Bhattacharjee, a specialist in gynaecology.
